Dan Reich has spent more than 30 years as a graphic designer. Raised in Colorado, he has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1972. Dan worked his way up through the art departments of several ad agencies in the '70s, and later served as art director at San Francisco Magazine. As part of Bullseye, Dan has worked on a wide variety of projects from slides to billboards...nothing was ever too big or too small.
Dan rode the first wave of desktop publishing, during which he
designed and produced a regional newsletter for the American Heart Association, a color quarterly magazine for Chevron, and many other projects for Prime Road Communications of Marin.
Dan has spent many years mastering desktop publishing tools,
becoming proficient in illustration, photo retouching, manipulating and compositing. A master of Photoshop and Illustrator, he is comfortable working in a variety of computer illustration styles, and is a deft hand illustrator as well.
Since 2000, Dan has been involved with online technology and startup companies. For Akira Technologies, a mobile applications developer, Dan developed small form-factor content for interactive demos on cell phones. He has also lent audio talents to industrial soundtracks, websites and audio tags.
Dan's writing talent - often useful at agencies, where he once won a copywriting award - has developed into a solid skill that has added value to many a document, presentation and web site.
